Chinese delegation in Aosta Valley for three days visits to the competition sites of the Winter Military World Games
Inspection and meetings to prepare the expedition of the Chinese military team are scheduled for the first days of February.
A military national delegation of the Popular Chinese Republic, leaded by Colonel Tang and Colonel Wang, who is in mission at the Chinese Embassy in Rome, has arrived in Aosta Valley supported by the Organizing Committee of the first Winter Military World Games 2010, planned into the region from next 20th to 25th March.
Gen. Gola launches the Games at the Military Sports Meeting
The international Military Sports meeting has taken place in these days at the Guardia di Finanza Sport Centre in Castelporzio.
Leaded by the President General Gianni Gola, the participants have approached many subjects concerning the planning of the next activities, that will involve the 24 sports practiced by the Armed Forces of the 131 CISM member nations. The CISM is a military organization, that has concurred, through sport, to keep peace and friendship among the Armed Forces of all its members, for more than sixty years.

The last test before Vancouver
The Slalom competition ladies, that will take place tomorrow afternoon in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, will be a test event for the next Winter Military World Games of March, and a very fascinating race before the Olympic Games. According to the programme, there will be the track inspection from 4.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m., the first run at 5.30 p.m., and the second run at 8.00 p.m.; the prize-giving ceremony will be at 9.30 p.m., and the winner will be given the Trophy Leonardo David, dedicated to the unforgotten and very unlucky champion of the Aosta Valley.
