Chinese delegation in Aosta Valley for three days visits to the competition sites of the Winter Military World Games
Inspection and meetings to prepare the expedition of the Chinese military team are scheduled for the first days of February.
A military national delegation of the Popular Chinese Republic, leaded by Colonel Tang and Colonel Wang, who is in mission at the Chinese Embassy in Rome, has arrived in Aosta Valley supported by the Organizing Committee of the first Winter Military World Games 2010, planned into the region from next 20th to 25th March.
During the three days of meetings, the six Chinese representatives have visited the seats of the Organizing Committee, and are inspecting all the competition sites. On the first day, after meeting the Organizing Committee members and inspecting the operations room in Aosta, seats of the accreditations and movements office, the Chinese representatives have also checked the hotel, where the 26 people out of quota will stay during the event.
The Chinese team will be one of the most important representatives among the 40 nations attending the event. More then 800 athletes will compete into the following Winter sports: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski mountaineering, ski orienteering, indoor sport climbing and short track. The visit ends with the inspection of Pila, Cogne, Courmayeur, Brusson and Gressoney.
