One more adventure for the Short Track athletes, again busy after the Olympics.

Between the individual World Championships in Sofia (BUL) and the team ones in Bormio (ITA), there are the First Winter Military World Games with two competitions (1500 m and 500m), which will take place on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th in the town of Courmayeur.

China presents its complete team, and, among its best athletes, there is the young twenty-year-old  Weilong Song, fresh from his Olympic experience in the relay and  in the 1500 m race. For Italy, Roberto Serra  of the Army Sports Centre will probably defend the tricolour. Among ladies, the Italian athletes, Katia Zini of the Army Sports Centre and Arianna Fontana of the Fiamme Gialle (Olympic bronze medal in the 500 m race) will face the Austrian Veronica Windish and the Bulgarian Evgeniya Radanova. The German athletes Susenne Rudolph and Diane Scheibe will be particularly well-trained.
