The Cross-country Grand Prix CISM took place within the first Winter Military World Games; cross-country was a discipline presented as a demonstrative sport. The race, which covered a distance of 4600 mt for women and of 6900 mt for men, was opened to the FIDAS enrolled. It was attended by the athletes of the Sport Military Groups. In the man race Stefano Scaini won the first place and Yuri Floriani the second place (both from Fiamme Gialle). Final position for Matteo Villani (Carabinieri). In the women race Cristina Artuso from G.S. Army wins the first place, overcoming her colleague Sara Palmas, whereas Adelina Sacco (Fiamme Gialle) obtains the bronze medal.
