One more adventure for the Short Track athletes, again busy after the Olympics.

Between the individual World Championships in Sofia (BUL) and the team ones in Bormio (ITA), there are the First Winter Military World Games with two competitions (1500 m and 500m), which will take place on Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th in the town of Courmayeur.

Ski mountaineering, the mother of all the alpine sports, is an activity representing the jewel in the crown of the Army Sports Centre. The athletes of the Perenni Barracks of Courmayeur are the big favourite ones in the competition, which will give the rainbow title during the First Winter Military World Games.

Big challenges in Gressoney, Pila and Brusson

After the Winter Olympic Games of Vancouver, many athletes, who attended the Canadian event, will be busy with World Cup competitions and with the first edition of the Winter Military World Games Aosta Valley 2010, the greatly expected event scheduled from 20th to 25th March. In some days, there will be the official confirmation of the names of our most important military athletes, who should attend the Games.
